"gods own land"

After my trip to malaysia last year in september to watch the motogp i decided to jott down evry thing that happens on every trip i ever go on, so i'l never ever forget the experiences i had.
this time im in chochin..
ocasion: my couzins engagement. time of blogg: 12.50 am.
on the aircraft as we reached cochin, the first thing i saw when i looked down was GREEN....green as in dark fresh greenery all over; but nothing could beat the view while we wer landing..oh man! that was beyond amazing!....a blue sky...greeen trees..Coconut trees hundreds all over! and red brick houses coverd with brownn dried coconut leaved rooftops...and the meandering river was beyond beautiful!
the airport was a cozy small place which loked like it was out of a drawing...and inside it were small stalls for tourist to book a resort and other stuff like that...it really fealt like you were in a coastal holidfay spot.
As soon as i reached my aunts place, my Couzin, as it was her engagement the next day, came rushing out and hugged us and dragged us into the room to get mehendi put on our hands.
"do you want it on both the sides of your hands? do you want it all the way till your elbow or just til your wrist??"...questions kept flowing and i had no clue which to answe first..so al i did was leave it to my couzin hoo went on rambelling very quickly in malayalam tellin the lasied to make it simple and that i had never put mehendi before.
The ladies while drawing out thwe pattern with the mixture spoke amongst them selves and acted as this was one of the easiest things ever creates..trust me, its NOT as easy as it looks.
i had to wait for 2 whole hours while the mehendi dried up before i could wash it off..and that was another iritating part because i wasent allowe to "wash" ti off..i simply had to scrape off all the driend mehendi and oil my hands for a litle while before i actualy washes it.(if you dont have patience and if you hapeen to be fidgity..this is not for you).
then the entier family...(ours is really really big)...gatherd outside in the garden for dinner and had a blast.
looking at my hands now, i hadnt realise how dark the print would be....and as my sis and i share our room with our couzins while we'r here...i better go to bed before i wake anybody up...
..with more news on the engagement i shall write 2morro.
good night..or rather good morning!
