Asking for directions. (unedited)

How does one undo their mistakes?
How does one change?

Is there no manual, No book , no guide?
Is there nothing that can Help me make things right?
They say ppl deserve a second chance

Why is it when I try something
a second time around
I fall flat on my face?

Some one up there has it in for me.
 Someone up there knows
 iv done wrong.
 If someone up there would
 only guide me,
I wouldn't be lost or so far from home.

 Is there no way
 I can make things right?
Is it too late to change?
Is there nothing that can be done,
To make up for the mistakes iv made?
Time is the enemy I've noticed.

 Time is a selfish onlooker
Waiting to pull the rug from under you.
Wanting you to fall flat on your face.

The choices I've made growing up
Have not been my finest so far.
I do not regret them,
just don't understand them.

I do not wish to change my past,
I do not want what's done, undone.
I only want a second chance.
If what I hear is true,
Then I do believe
I deserve a second chance too.

does anyone out there have a manual, or a guide,
Or a clue how to live.

Is there nothing I can do to make things right??
Is there no way for me to land on my feet?
 For my face can take
no more assaults from the floor!

A book exists to take you from one page to another. Just like a manual gives you set instructions to follow. The choice is entirely up to you. You could close chapters, throw away manuals and believe in yourself. That's the beauty of it. You know what's right because you believe in it. Only when you have faith in yourself will someone up there show faith in you. Maybe it's not the mistakes you've made. Maybe you've taken destiny so seriously that you've forgotten that your fate can trace a different path entirely. Time keeps ticking, it always does, even as we speak. But is time your enemy? Or your friend? Time only speaks for the person that values moments. The past, the present and the future are just conjugations of moments that once were, are and will be. It's the moment we live in. Not the time. Times change. People needn't. Everyone get's a second chance, no matter what choices we've made or make. Every little move we make is a choice. Do we regret them? No we dont. We move on to the next one. It's as simple as that. Not every choice that we make are is right. As long as we stick to what we believe, choices automatically follow. And if you truly believe in something, then maybe someone up there will drop clues and eventually you will see, words turn to phrases, phrases turn to pages and pages, they become books, guides that you've written and not that's been written for you.
